New Los Ceibos Hospital

In October 2016 Inycom is selected by Grupo Puentes (Spanish company; the successful bidder for the project) to undertake the consultancy, supply, installation, training and maintenance of the biomedical equipment necessary for the start-up and proper operation of the Los Ceibos Hospital in Guayaquil, Ecuador. The centre was tendered by the Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security (IESS) and inaugurated in March 2017. Construction was completed over 14 months and Inycom had 5 months to ready all the medical equipment. The hospital has 500 beds for conventional hospitalisation and a hundred more for outpatient and postoperative use. The hospital complex required an investment of some 206 million Euros. Inycom installed 15,000 biomedical units for 22 medical specialities. The Los Ceibos Hospital was the third IESS hospital in the city of Guayaquil and can attend 1,500,000 patients each year.
