Inycom participated in a consortium in Ecuador to supply all the biomedical equipment as well as the installation, commissioning, maintenance and training of staff in the creation of two hospitals in Guayaquil and Quito. Inycom spearheaded the supply of high-tech, high quality and reliable equipment, from over 80 world-class manufacturers After finishing the supply, assembly and commissioning work, they took charge of technical maintenance for all the equipment. The project also includes the training of personnel who use these machines. The new General Hospital of Quito Sur is equipped with 500 beds and required an investment of 203 million Euros. In this hospital, Inycom installed 12,000 devices, including 10 ultrasound machines, a mammography device, two scanners, an MRI, three digital X-ray rooms, a remote control, an orthopanthus, a full-body densitometer, 10 operating rooms, 70 monitors, 30 respirators, 20 ICU stations, a dialysis room, adult and neonatal ICUs, as well as pathology, pharmacy, biochemistry and haematology laboratories. Inycom also provided 3,000 hours of training to staff using this equipment.
