Installation of 150 hybrid solar panels to generate domestic hot water and electricity
In 2019 Abora was responsible for modifying the electricity and hot water supply for the Iberostar Tenerife Hotel, which is on the Canary Island of Tenerife (Spain). This project is part of the sustainability and renovation line pursued by the hotel chain. During the study, a solution was devised that would reduce the dependence of the building on external energy and generate savings in electrical costs

In total, 102 hybrid solar panels were installed that can produce 40,470 kWh per year of electricity and 181,206 kWh of thermal energy. This volume of energy will monetize the investment in the panels in five years and reduce CO2 emissions by 86,544 kg per year, positioning the resort on the path of sustainability.
