Design and installation of public areas and 313 rooms for the Novotel flagship
The world's tallest Novotel and the brand's new flagship, Novotel Canary Wharf, is an iconic and impressive 39-storey building on the Canary Wharf skyline. Located on Marsh Wall in the Isle of Dogs, on the banks of the Thames, the hotel opened in 2016 and has 313 rooms, 26 individually designed suites and Bokan, a contemporary restaurant, bar and roof terrace with panoramic views of London. Dula was responsible for the technical development, production and assembly of common areas and rooms.
The building was built for AccorHotels, with Indecs Contracts as the primary contractor, Inco as the main structure contractor, Leach Rhodes Walker as architects and Koncept ID as the primary interior designers.
The Bokan bar and restaurant occupies the top three floors of the hotel and culminates in a roof terrace with panoramic views of the city. The restaurant interior was created by Mystery Ltd, with Koncept ID responsible for the implementation and delivery of the design.
